Strategic Acquisition and Expansion Plans

According to a recent press release, SeedMaster has secured a strategic acquisition that includes both land and a building adjacent to its current headquarters in Emerald Park, a thriving community near Regina. This expansion entails an additional 6,000 sq. ft. being constructed onto the existing 6,000 sq. ft. facility, effectively doubling their production capacity.

Construction is slated to begin this summer, with the ambitious goal of commencing operations at the new site by the end of 2024.

Advanced Facilities and Job Creation

The new expansion will be outfitted with cutting-edge equipment, including a CNC steel plate cutting machine and a state-of-the-art automated painting system. This move is expected to significantly enhance production efficiency and output.

Moreover, this expansion will have a positive impact on the local community by creating employment opportunities. SeedMaster anticipates the new facility will accommodate 20-25 new employees once completed.

Continued Growth and Investment

This isn't the first time SeedMaster has demonstrated its commitment to growth. In March 2023, the company secured a $602,500 loan from the PrairiesCan Business Scale-Up Program. This funding was instrumental in expanding their production and packaging capacities, setting the stage for the current expansion.

SeedMaster's latest investment reflects its dedication to innovation and community development, reinforcing its position as a leader in the agricultural equipment industry.
